Various Design Works

Although my job title at Niche is a Motion Graphic Designer, we are a small scrappy team, therefore, I tend to wear a lot of hats. This page includes many of those works - from a one pager to a holiday card, to social posts to animated growth ads. 

Central Wyoming College Testimonial Video

In this interview, we wanted to highlight Central Wyoming College. Central Wyoming College, a NASNTI school, partnered with Niche to connect with students in the tribal community and spotlight their new Bachelor of Applied Science degree programs. I worked to help remotely film this interview with CWC's marketing department and edited, did sound design, and the graphics for the video.

Florida Niche Page Views One Pager

I created a one pager for a conference in Florida that highlights how Niche's Places to Live and K-12 School Search function work together and how clients could use Places to Live to recruit on Niche.

Animated Growth Marketing Ads

I created a series of ads and email creatives that focused on sending users to our lite registration. Pictured above is the story crop version of the creatives.

Social Posts 

Throughout my time at Niche, I have had to create a variety of social posts. I worked on thumbnails for youtube, posts for the instagram feed, thumbnails for IGTV, and more!

Hackathon Projects

Every year, Niche does an internal hackathon. It allows for quick ideation and exploration that we might not usually get to do, and it allows us to work with people and teams we don't normally get to. This year, I participated in three projects - Niche Swipe, Niche Candyland, and Niche Coin.

Niche Swipe

I worked with two product designers to concept "College Match", which is a dating app style product that would be integrated into our app to help students find where they belong and to game-ify

Niche's user experience.

Niche Candyland

I worked with a team of developers and product managers to create our interactive Enrollmentland gameboard! Above is a screenrecorded live demo. We also explored how to game-ify our product.

Niche Coin

The concept behind Niche Coin is that it is an in-app currency that encourages users to interact with our product. A user would gain Niche Coins from doing a full registration, leaving a review, and engaging with our product. The user then could use Niche Coin in our Niche Coin store to purchase stuff like swag, discounts, and digital assets. It would be encouraging users to continual interact with the app. While I had a team that I worked with, I was the main creative director for this project. I illustrated the coin, created animations for the coin, and took this as an opportunity to redesign our onboarding flow.
